Abstract

This thesis aims to assess the status of the Endowment Fund Albert with other endowment funds of similar type. The first part presents the operation of NGOs in the Czech Republic and its legal aspects. The main focus here is on the private sector, public benefit non-profit organizations, particularly foundations and endowment funds. The second part deals with the management of non-profit organizations. The main points are financial resources, fundraising, management concrete foundations and endowment funds, accounting and taxes. The third part is focused on the practical functioning compared Foundation Endowment Fund, Albert and Tesco. The conclusion is a summary of work done and any recommendations.
