Abstract

This dissertation thesis deals with AC variable speed drives with asynchronous motors. The main objective is the application of the modern methods to drive induction machines without using sensor of velocity. The work is focused to the area of methods, which using nonlinear observers for determine the position of the rotor. For the implementation of sensorless vector control is used digital signal processor MC56F8037 from Freescale. In this work is description of asynchronous motor drive for simulation purposes. Next there is a described of modern method simulation Hardware In the Loop, which allows debugging directly in the microcontroller without using a real stand with asynchronous motor. Instead, the model of inverter and the model of motor are driven and it runs either in Matlab-Simulink or directly in a microcontroller together with the vector control. Subsequently, the experimental design of stand with asynchronous motor was make for the development of sensorless vector control of induction machines. Stand consists of sensorless controlled drive with asynchronous motor and an active load with asynchronous motor. The performed analysis shows the possibilities of sensorless control solution for low velocity. The last chapter describes the experimental results, which were obtained by the implementation of sensorless vector control methods. The conclusion summarizes the results of this work. -
