Abstract

EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EU LISBON STRATEGY Veronika Balíková The topic of bachelor thesis is evaluation of implementation of the EU Lisbon Strategy. Thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the period and the causes that preceded the creation of the Lisbon Strategy. In the second chapter is briefly characterized content and structure of the Lisbon Strategy in terms of three pillars: economic, social and environmental. The last chapter contains the evaluation results of the Lisbon Strategy after its existence. Specifically is analyzed from the perspective of the European Commission, the World Economic Forum and through structural indicators. At the end of this chapter is presented a new strategy, The Strategy Europe 2020. The conclusion summarizes the results of implementation of the Lisbon Strategy and outlines the next steps and recommendations for the European Union in creating economic policies.
