Abstract

Stanislav Lichorobiec, Ph.D. This thesis explores a safety assessment of the risks of the „Brezovec“motocross track. Firstly, it describes the legal framework surrounding the issue, including the federation of motorsports and national sports statutes for the management of motorsports, also known as the regulations of motocross. These theoretical foundations form the basis for modelling the most serious risks of the “Brezovec“ track. Ishikawa’s diagrams are used, followed by analysis of malfunction and its implications. The results of analysis are then used to suggest alterations, supplements and recommendations to the track, as well as an economic evaluation to ensure security on the “Brezovec“ track.
