Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with sewage sludge and its treatment, especially composting technology. Sludge can have a number of beneficial properties for agricultural ponds. Such as macro and micro nutrient content, or, for example, ability to reduce the susceptibility of soil to erosion. On the other hand their deposition on soils poses various risks, such as pollution. This is exactly the reason why the rules for the treatment of sludge before its reuse on agriculture soils, are so strict. One possible solution to the elimination of this problem is composting of sewage sludge in aerobic ecological waste apparatus EWA.
