Nikola Vavřínová The aim of this master’s thesis is to compile a project documentation for a construction of lodging house in Opava according to decree No 499/2006 Coll. as amended by amendment No. 62/2013 Coll. About building documentation [1]. The documentation was created for a specified architectural study from the subject Project I, which was further developed in sub-ject Project II. The thesis is composed of two parts. A drawing part and text part, which ai processed to a given extent and supplemented with thermal engineering assessment of the perimeter structures to CSN 73 0540-2 [2], energy label of the building envelope to CSN 73 0540 [2] and static calculation containing the design and reinforcement assessment of the boarding arm of the reinforced concrete staircase. Located on the outskirts of the city of Opava, the concept consists of a freestanding rectangular building that is retracted in the central part, in which the entrance to the building is located, creating an object of three masses. The building has four upper floors and is partially subbasement. The load-bearing system is wall-mounted. The walls are based on foundation strips. The building is covered by flat roofs, while green walk-up roofs are designed on the third floor.
