Abstract
Annotation
Planning of the construction process is mostly based on project engineers’ experiences who significantly contribute to control cost overrunning and completion date fulfilment. Combi- nation of technical experiences with the construction process management combined with the statistical method implementation is the way, how to solve exact planning process based on collecting and evaluating the data. Prediction of the work productivity is one of the key matters of the construction planning process. Many construction projects today are planned and managed using computer technology.
The task of construction management and construction production organisation is the increa- se of its competitiveness ability by reduction of the construction costs. Controlling process of the work productivity with the involvement of the statistical methods and combined with the application of the construction software can be tools, how to achieve not only the wages costs decrease but the reduction of overheads and production costs connected to the ful- filment shortening of the building duration. Computerized system of the construction plan- ning CONTEC combined with statistical method provides the possibility on the basis of both the mean value and standard deviation, deployed numbers of the working groups and technological links to determinate probability of construction process completion.
Such statistical analysis enables to take measures in due time which are necessary to fulfil construction project´s milestones both in personal direction by increasing of the work force and in the field of the construction change technology to enable an acceleration of the con struction process. This thesis implements the statistical analysis of the construction work whose items apart from material costs contain a bigger part of salary costs, thus are more demanding in terms of number of working groups necessary to complete the construction works according to the time schedule and play decisive role in the construction process.
By the repeated monitoring of the construction process effectivity using the statistical method combined with application of the construction software is possible to achieve higher work productivity. The proposed construction process control method is intended primarily for the management of construction processes. Its main aim is to verify the planned mean labour productivity values for individual construction processes on which the time schedule (HMG) is based by performing statistical analyses of recorded worker performance data, directly at the construction site. By collecting real performance data, the course of this work in time and thus the entire construction process can be predicted. The values obtained for labour productivity are compared to the data achieved on similar construction projects and the possible reasons for drop in performance are then examined. By creating and updating the performance data, the probabilities of the course of construction processes in similar future construction works may be estimated.
