Revitalizace vodního toku Ostravice

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the Revitalization of the certain section of the Ostravice river. The effort was made to control the watercourse in such a way as to bring it to its original condition. The theoretical knowledge about the issue of the revitalization of watercourses will be clarified, namely the basic concepts of the watercourse customizations, the process of revitalization measure proposal, and last but not least, the reasons for revitalizations. In the next part of this work the respective river section is characterized. The following part concerns the current condition of the Ostravice river, it also describes the watercourse's route, the vegetation and the animals living there. The fifth chapter covers the methodology of the solution. In the end of the work, the proposed revitalization measures of the watercourse are described and amended with graphical solutions
