Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on visual weld inspection and the qualification assessment of operators. The aim is to propose a method that enables objective and systematic evaluation of their competence. The theoretical part covers quality management principles, quality control tools, and statistical methods including Cohen’s kappa coefficient. The practical part includes an analysis of the current state in the company, assessment of ergonomic conditions, and the training system. The outcome is a proposal for a comprehensive procedure to verify operator qualification, contributing to improved quality and objectivity in visual inspection.
