Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the competitiveness of the engineering company Č.V.PROTOTYP s.r.o., the aim of this work is to evaluate the competitiveness of the company using selected methods. The first part of the work is devoted to the introduction and follows the clarification of the essence of competitiveness and characteristics of individual methods. The practical part includes the compilation of PESTE analysis and Porter's analysis to evaluate the external environment of the company. Pollak's model was compiled to evaluate the viability of the company. To evaluate the internal environment, a financial analysis was compiled, which subsequently served as the basis for Spider analysis within the intercompany comparison. At the end of the diploma thesis, the results of selected methods are summarized and evaluated, on the basis of which proposals and recommendations for the future development of the company were created.
