Abstract

With the passing of the Building Act No. 183/2006 Coll., land survey data have become a new instrument for land use planning. Land survey data are used to gather information about a given piece of land, to ensure appropriate storage of the information in a data storage, and to carry out the assessment of land - values, project intent, problems and limits - within the scope of a municipality with extended powers and the processing of analyses for sustainable development. The processed data about land and their analyses become the foundation for new land use plans designed by municipalities. This thesis describes the conditions of land survey data administration in Litoměřice, a municipality with extended powers, along with its current development and future outlook. An example of sample data processing and a proposal for further use of data within the information system of the local municipality are included in this work.
