Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a software platform that enables the testing of automated tasks and processes using standard and industrial communication protocols. The platform is developed in C\# and includes a communication server that provides the interface between the application layer, the user interface, and, where applicable, a PLC. The user interface is built using React. Automated tasks are implemented in the TIA Portal environment, where communication protocols are simultaneously used to verify the functionality of communication and data transfer between the platform and the PLC. This work aimed to create a user-friendly software platform for testing and developing automated processes with support for multiple communication protocols and corresponding visualization, where the proposed solution will be beneficial for the effective teaching of communication protocols and their practical application.
