Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a suitable insurance program for a specific entity. The program consisted of risk life insurance and non-life insurance, which included household insurance, compulsory liability insurance and pet insurance. The text begins with a brief introduction to the topic, followed by a description of basic concepts to understand the issue of multicriteria decision making and a description of methods for determining the weights of criteria. The Fuller method and the Saaty method were chosen to determine the weights of the criteria. It also characterizes the market with life and non-life insurance in the Czech Republic and individual products of life and non-life insurance. Then, selected life insurance products of ten insurance companies, household and compulsory liability insurance products of six insurance companies and pet insurance products of three insurance companies are described, which are selected for analysis. For clarification, the subject for which the selection of the optimal product is performed is characterized. The next part of the work describes the individual criteria that the subject has chosen and then a criterion matrix is created. Then the individual variants to which the individual methods are applied are listed. First Fuller's method is applied and then Saaty's method. Subsequently, methods are used for the selection of variants, where the method of linear partial functions of utility is selected first and then the method of analytical hierarchical process. In the end, the knowledge gained from the evaluation of individual insurance products is described and the optimal product is selected.
