Ekonomická analýza rodinného podniku v oboru klempířství a pokrývačství

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the economic analysis of a selected family business operating in the field of tinsmithing and roofing in the Přerov district. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the company's financial performance and situation between 2020 and 2024 and to formulate recommendations for its future development. The theoretical part defines concepts related to family business and financial analysis methodology. The practical part applies horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, ratio analysis, benchmarking, and strategic tools such as PEST analysis, Porter's Five Forces model, and SWOT analysis. The results indicate that the company is financially very stable with a high proportion of equity, low debt, and above-standard liquidity. At the same time, the analysis revealed a gradual decline in investment activity and a strategic risk in the form of unresolved succession. The proposed recommendations focus on the transformation of the legal form, more effective marketing, and modernization of management to ensure the long-term sustainability of the business.
