Abstract
The bachelor's thesis is focused on the issue of the occurrence of electrical dysfunctions in the rectified part of laptop chargers. At the beginning of the work, he describes how to determine the causes of a fire and then explains the taking of electrical samples found at the scene of an emergency. To understand the occurrence of electrical dysfunctions, part of the work is devoted to electricity and its functioning. Electric initiators are selected, which are further described exactly according to the definition of the Fire and Rescue Service. The experimental part describes an experiment in which individual chargers were tested and their behavior in the event of electrical dysfunction was observed. The emergence of electrical dysfunction was simulated in laboratory conditions on the premises of the Technical Institute of Fire Protection in Prague with the cooperation of local experts. In one of the chapters of the bachelor's thesis, difficulties that arose during the experiment and a proposal for their elimination are presented. At the end of the bachelor's thesis, an evaluation of the currently used safety elements of chargers and a proposal of measures for the initiation of insulation of the charger conductor is carried out.
