Využití mramoru v architektuře a sochařství

Abstract

Obsahem předložené práce je obecný popis mramoru a jeho následné uplatnění, zejména v oblasti ušlechtilé kamenické výroby. Práce zahrnuje zúžený přehled ložisek u nás i v Evropě, jejich charakteristiku a význam. Cílem práce je ale také obeznámení čtenáře s údržbou a konzervací kamene, popřípadě negativními vlivy a nevhodnými zásahy v oblasti památkové péče. Dále jsou v textu uvedeny umělecké slohy, v nichž byl mramor ve větší míře využíván, jejichž součástí je také výčet a stručný popis památek.

The content of this thesis is a general description of marble and its subsequent implementation, particularly in the area of fine stone production. The work includes a narrow list of deposits in Czech republic and Europe, their characteristics and importance. The aim is to familiarize the reader with the maintenance and conservation of stone, or negative influences and inappropriate interventions in conservation. Further in the text there are descriptions of art styles in which the marble was widely used and which also includes a list and brief description of monuments.
