Abstract
This thesis aims to evaluate the five selected services provided by the City of Ostrava - district Michálkovice for the period 2008 - 2012. This is selected public services Grooming community, Residential and commercial management, Collection and transport of municipal waste, Cemetery administration, Management and maintenance of local roads. In appreciation were used some general scientific methods.
The thesis is based on literature, current legislation, internal documents of the City of Ostrava - district Michálkovice and provided consultation with the staff of the municipal district Michálkovice.
