Abstract

Mildorf, L. Design and Implementation of Modern Procedures for Assembly Line Performance Increasing of Defined Products, Ostrava: Department of Quality Management VŠB Technical University of Ostrava, 2011, 140 pp. Dissertation thesis, head: Noskievičová,D. The dissertation thesis focuses on systematically combination of control methods leading to optimal design of a new assembly line. In the opening theory part the methodology of current methods is described. It concentrates on Lean production method, Poka-Yoke tools, FMEA analysis, Statistic Process Control, Automated Process Control, Total Productive Maintenance and Integrated Process Control. In proposed solution part of the thesis there is introduced a design of an assembly process methodology, including a new procedure and prioritisation of a control method selection. Proposals for a waste elimination, an operator psyche influence on product quality and return of investments to the new assembly line are determined. The model of assembly process design introduces structured procedure for design of a new assembly line for a new product production. The final part contains an application of the model of assembly process design on a specific project. The outcome is the technical specification, building-up the line and approval of the line for the mass production.
