Abstract
Bachelor thesis focuses on biosynthesis of metallic nanoparticles. Nanoparticle biosynthesis is one of the biotechnological approach and these are associated with a certain pitfall, which is based on the worse reproducibility of the method, given that the "living" biological material is used in the technological approach. The thesis generally describes the advantages and disadvantages of biosynthesis, explains what phytosynthesis is, and further describes how the phytosynthesis conditions can be influenced and optimized to produce homogeneous nanoparticles. In the theoretical part, the main analytical and imaging methods used to characterize biosynthetic nanoparticles and to assess their stability when prepared as a colloidal solution are described. Practical experiments then document that for the phytosynthesis of gold nanoparticles, spruce needles (lat. Picea sp.) Can be used. In conclusion, it was assessed that pilot experiments were reproducible and colloidal solutions showed a stable colloid system.
