Abstract

The use of pigments in the building industry is becoming increasingly popular. In last time war demonstrated effect pigments on the properties of cement and concrete mixtures. Therefore it is necessary to know their behavior and changes in the characteristics that cause. We must avoid their adverse effects, and know design optimal formulation. The goal of my thesis was to demonstrate the effect inorganic pigments on the properties of the cement composite. The pigment was using in different concentrations based on the amount of cement. Resultant color scheme of the samples dependent on the color of the cement mortar and also on the natural color of aggregates. Pigments were applied to the cement mortar of white cement and for comparison to a mortar of gray portland cement mixed with adding limestone. For processing colour of samples were used spectrophotometers from company Konica Minolta. Best performing, and as well as solidity, colouring and good consistence had white portland cement with adding limestone in combination with a red pigment concentration of 6 % from company Remei cz
