Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the risk assessment during the preparation and holding of laser shows. The aim of this thesis is to assess whether safety regulations are observed during the preparation and performance of a laser show and whether there is any risk of laser hazards to persons on the scene. The first part of the thesis deals with lasers, laser shows and laser safety. The second part of the thesis describes the process of the whole laser show in different stages from the demand to the end of the event. In this part the different steps and the associated safety risks are described in detail. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the laser safety approach associated with the laser show and proposes recommendations to enhance laser safety.
