Rozvoj kreativního průmyslu v Ostravě

Abstract

The major aim of this thesis is the analysis of interpretation of the creative industry in Ostrava. Recommendations for future development of creative industries in Ostrava are not ignored. The thesis is divided into four parts - one theoretical and three practical. The theoretical part contains definitions of term creative industry, describes the spatial concentration of creative industry and focuses closer on defining the concept of cluster, namely the cultural cluster. The practical part analyzes the historical development and current status of Ostrava in terms of geographic, demographic and economic. City areas with a potential creative industry are demarcated, along with recommendations for the sustainable development of creative industries in Ostrava. The practical part uses the result of interviews conducted.
