Abstract
This thesis is concerned with measuring the flash point of flammable liquids by Pensky-Martens on automatic apparatus NORMALAB NPM 440 and verifying its conformity with the requirements of standard ČSN EN ISO 2719. The following contains options to determine the flash point and regulations, which make use of this value. The measurement was accomplished with reference substances decane and tetradecane. Certified reference material diesel was used to verify the measurement system.
