Abstract

This diploma paper focuses on the management of the Secondary Technical School of Luhačovice. The aim of the paper is to evaluate the school management and outline recommendations for further economic development. A financial analysis is carried out for each year and is subsequently followed by a comparison and evaluation of the management carried out for the entire period. Further economic development is suggested in the last part of the paper.

One of the suggestions concerns the reconstruction and expansion of the boarding house which currently does not meet the capacity requirement and results in a number of students staying in private rental flats. Other recommendation is to rent the school building and teach foreign language in private or public courses.
