Finanční analýza vybraného podniku z odvětví kloboučnictví

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is extended and advanced financial analysis of Czech traditional hats manufacturing company - Tonak a.s., for years from 2014 till 2017. To achieve the objective of this thesis standard methods and procedures were used together with interdisciplinary comparisons. Horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheets and profit and loss statements were used and applied and following ratio indicators highlighted the problem area of liquidity and low return on capital. Despite the inconsistent results, the creditworthy and bankruptcy models pointed to potential financial threats. At the end of the thesis there are formulated concrete suggestions and recommendations for identified general financial problem areas, which can contribute to improvement of the future company performance and prosperity.
