Abstract

The aim of my thesis was to explore the possibilities for the education and development of ski school employees. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter defines important terms relating to the issue of training and staff development, describing the theories of learning, training, the training program and its parts. The following chapter describes the ski school as it is now. The third chapter describes the preparation and implementation phases of the employee survey. The fourth section assesses the current state of education in the ski school and analyzes the data obtained from the survey. Identifying gaps and opportunities for further training and development is devoted to the final chapter, which contains proposals and recommendations for improving the staff education and training in Suvretta Snowsports Schoul St. Moritz-Champfèr.
