Abstract

This thesis deals with issues related to the technical requirements of the prototype of a log band sawmill in relation to ensuring safety and health protection. It outlines the commissioning of the machine in accordance with applicable legislation, there are also technical data on the prototype of the machine, as well as appropriate technical measures to ensure the health and safety of the user of this equipment. A risk analysis is also prepared, which will be used to develop adequate instructions for use. It summarizes and discusses the basic steps in the design of a prototype machine, as well as the benefits and negatives for users, including technical issues that require increased attention.
