Abstract

This thesis discusses the methods and ways of displaying 3D. First, they are given basic information about the human perception of 3D images, how the natural an artificial stereoscopic vision works. The next part deals with 3D display in various ways, their advantages and disadvantages. Main attention is paid to triangulation method and 3D scanners. Explained the concepts of CCD, laser and scanners required for triangulation, their distribution and use. The last part is devoted to practical testing triangulation method. I describe here making and testing a 3D scanner.
