Abstract

This thesis deals with proposal of optimum opening, preparation and exploitation of the longwall No. 400 002 in the block No. 0 of the Plant North CSM Mine. The thesis is divided into five main parts. Basic characteristic of CSM Mine, mode of deposit and geological conditions of the area are mentioned in the first chapters to initiate the problem. Second chapter is devoted to the proposal of opening and preparation of longwall 400 002 including mechanical equipment. Third chapter is devoted to the proposal of technology equipment and mining method. Next chapter is devoted to the safety, such as bump proof prevention, mine ventilation etc. The conclusion consists of technical-economic evaluation of the proposal.
