Sledování pohybu ryb během úprav vodních toků těžkou technikou

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the monitoring of migratory routes of Alpine bullhead (Cottus poecilopus) and trout (Salmo trutta). Both species of interest were monitored on selected streams of riparian character in the Beskydy protected landscape area. During the monitored time period, the streams had different flow rates. The introductory section deals with watercourse treatment, and the second part focuses on fish migration and the influencing factors. The next section focuses on the use of GIS in fish migration monitoring that has been used abroad. Further, the methodology and data sources are described. The following sections of the thesis are devoted to fish movement analysis. The main objective of the thesis is to present the development of changes in migration direction, the use of a distance function, and to present a solution related to watercourse barriers by utilizing special tools to analyze and visualize migration data through geoinformation systems.
