Abstract
The thesis presents department of water management in metallurgical company ArcelorMittal Ostrava Inc. and waste water treatment process from metallurgical production in details. Its subject is utilization carbon dioxid [CO2] for influence the pH change in waste water instead of nowadays used iron sulphate [Fe2(SO4)3]. Includes coagulative test, with combination of neutralization agent and coagulants – regimes, to confirm optimal amount of coagulants and analyse new technology application. Conclusion includes economical evaluation of application chemicals in each regime and proposal the most appropriate solution of technology.
