Abstract
The bachelor´s thesis is focused on the description of infrared radiation and its use in safety technology. In the first part it was necessary to mention history of the discovery of infrared radiation and its progress to date. It was important to mention the sources, detectors, properties, and methods of using infrared radiation. The second part focuses on the measurement of infrared radiation using infrared sensors.
