Abstract
The final thesis compares the system of health insurance in the Czech Republic to systems of health insurance in Slovakia, German,
the England and Austria.
The theoretical part deals with characteristic of terms, which are related to the health insurance. These terms are health, health care, health services, health systems, health insurance, health insurance companies and health policy.
The practical part directs at the system of health insurance in the Czech Republic at first, then at the system of health insurance
in Slovakia, German, England and Austria.
In the last part is mentioned the evaluation of an accomplished comparison, which is based on advantages and disadvantages of individual systems of health insurance. The result of the dissertation is creation of a suitable health insurance system for the Czech Republic, based on advantages and disadvantages comparison.
