Abstract

Student: Roman Víšek School: Technical university of Ostrava Topic: Revitalisation Study of Former Brewery Area in Golčův Jeníkov Number of pages: Diploma thesis tutor: Ing. arch. Jaroslav Sedlecký This thesis describes the design of the new use of the former brewery in Golčův Jeníkov, its recovery and return to a vibrant city structure. The entire functional use of the area will be designed in accordance with the needs of the Golčův Jeníkov city. The complex is located near the city center of Golčův Jeníkov. The area of interest covers an area of approximately 27,500 square meters. There are currently located remaining foundations and basement slabs of buildings, asphalt and concrete surfaces and two reservoirs on the lands of the brewery. Coniferous and deciduous trees occur on unbuilt lands. The results of my thesis are comprehensive urban design areas which are drawn up in three different variants. Individual urban designs have different spatial divisions of the area while also various functional uses. The locality was mainly used for installation of individual housing, collective housing, sheltered housing with a sheltered workshop, social services and also for a sport and public spaces function. One of the proposed urban solutions was processed in details. For this variant the management of the technical infrastructure, road traffic solution and volume study of the object were resolved.
