Návrh využití paralelního koryta Odry (42. – 49. říční kilometr) k protipovodňové ochraně

Abstract

This thesis evaluates a hydrological capacity of parallel riverbed of Odra river and proposal of its use as a flood protection. First, it defines characteristics of a flood and flood measures according to the law. Next part summarizes a technical and natural flood measures in urban and also in external area. According to a methodology, you can find there a descripction of a selection types of maps, selection of measured profiles and a flow, and its calculations. In another part you can find a measurement of a river basin with using a laser range-finder and calculation of its capacity. In conclusion, I evaluated the results in terms of hydrological capacity and proposed measures. The consequences of a use of parallel riverbed as a flood protection are simulated in the HEC-RAS hydrological model.
