Sociální zabezpečení v České a Slovenské republice po vstupu do EU

Abstract

This work was elaborated on the basis of own survey and in the recommended scope. The aim of the work is to evaluate the development of the social security systems in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic after their admission to the Europe Union, primarily the interconnection of both systems with respect to the rules of the social security coordination in single social events. First of all, the work deals with the meaning of the social security systems in general and next it shows the most important legislative changes in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic after their admission to the Europe Union. The next part is focused on the social security systems coordination and on the issues of the implementation of the social security systems coordination between the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. The conclusion of this work summarizes the knowledge acquired from the cooperation among the state bodies of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic based on the files maintained in the institutions of Louny.
