Dostupnost sociálních a zdravotních služeb v okrese Nový Jičín

Abstract

The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the availability of social and health care services in the District of Nový Jičín, which is based on the comparison of selected normative recommended number of seats at selected social services and comparison of the recommended and actual driving times for health services. At theoretical level there are defined social and health services and the concept of availability for the above services. In the practical part there is evaluated the access to social and health services in the District of Nový Jičín. The theoretical part deals with the definition of social and health services, which are divided by various criteria. In this chapter all there are listed social services defined by the particular law No. 108/2006 Coll., Social Services, as amended, and specified which services are included in the health services. Also there is described the link between the social and health services. It also describes the availability of public services in general first and then the availability of specified social and health services. The practical part of the thesis in the third chapter presents the basic demographic characteristics of the relevant administrative districts of municipalities with extended powers. Trends in the number of seniors is described in several different ways and is designed for the following comparison with the recommended norms. For each administrative district follows a description of available health and social services in the administrative area. After that, an evaluation of the availability of social and health services is carried out. First I evaluated the availability of social services for the elderly and disabled persons according to the differently conceived recommended norms. Another section describes the availability of places in shelters in the distribution of the mothers with children, the homeless and dormitories. Social prevention services are analyzed using the recommended model of social services for the district. For health services was used Government Order No. 307/2012 Coll., The location and time availability of health services, which defines the recommended driving time according to type of health care. It compares the actual driving time to the recommended driving time.
