The diploma thesis is focused on assesment and evaluation of state of occupational health and safety in the paper industry. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate risks in the technological process of production of viscose pulp in operations of brewhouse and to propose suitable safety arrangements. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with analysis of risk management and definition of operations of brewhouse from the technological point of view. The practical part is dedicated to the assesment of risks which can arise in the operations. This part is also focused on proposal of proper arrangements which should be applied in terms of increasing the level of occupational health and safety.
