Abstract
The bachelor‘s thesis focuses on cosmetic products, substances contained in them and their influence on human beings and the environment. In the first part of the bachelor‘s thesis is documented the legislation and history of cosmetics. In the second part are documented the synthetically produced substances which are commonly used by companies for their cosmetics. In the last part the bachelor‘s thesis deals with substances that are made of purely natural substances, substances which are harmless to the environment and substances which could replace these substances that are produced synthetically.
