Abstract

Main aim of this diploma thesis is the analysis of appraisal system in a chosen organization. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part, which is based on specialized literature, is focused on the employees’ appraisal system, aim and purpose of the appraisal, its methods, appraisal interview and common mistakes in rating. First part of the diploma thesis practical part is focused on the characteristics of company CTS Czech Republic, s.r.o., in which analysis of employee appraisal system was executed. Sociological survey aimed at satisfaction with the implemented system was executed based on questionnaires. The research results were evaluated and interpreted. Conclusion of this work contains recommendations for improvements in the current appraisal system.
