Rozšíření těžební činnosti v dobývacím prostoru kamenolomu Břvany

Abstract

Natural materials are one of the bases of the development of human society. This fact was important in the past, but its importance did not decrease with time until today. There are plenty unique properties, including availability, having great importance in civil engineering, other industries and/or art and design use. The aggregates are one of these significant materials. Its consumption corresponds with requested demands on quality of communications, roads, intensity of civil engineering, but also many other activities. Exploitation of the natural stone is therefore really important and promising activity in future. This thesis is focused on assessment of the conditions and possibilities to enlarge the stone-pit in location “Břvany”. There is necessity to improve the obsolete technical & technological processes in the pit, upgrade them and assess the perspective of mining of the initially unplanned stocks, for which in accordance with the valid mining plan mining had not been considered before. Thesis is focused to the area of existing stone-pit. Main interests of the calculations are in the vertical enlargement of the pit giving this idea good and careful value from the environmental and economic points of view.
