Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a photovoltaic power plant for a family house. The thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of currently employed technologies for electricity. Another part of the thesis focuses on the current legislation governing the operation of photovoltaic power plants. Part of the thesis also includes project documentation for the designed power plant. The thesis further contains an assessment of equipment lifespan and a financial return on investment analysis.
