Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a heating system for a newly constructed two-story detached house with a basement and a hipped roof, located in the town of Štramberk. The building is designed for a family of four. A wood pellet boiler is proposed as the primary heat source. The thesis is divided into two thematic sections.
The first part focuses on the structural and technical solution in compliance with Building Act No. 283/2021 Coll. and Decree No. 131/2024 Coll. It includes complete project documentation, including the site plan, floor plans, cross-sections, and the technical report.
The second part is dedicated to building services, specifically focusing on heating and domestic hot water (DHW) preparation. It includes the calculation of the thermal properties of structures, heat loss analysis, and the energy balance of the building. The output consists of a specific design for the heating system, sizing of the heat source and the DHW storage tank, supplemented by the building envelope energy label and the Energy Performance Certificate (PENB).
