Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the description of the business environment in the Czech Republic, with an emphasis on the possible forms of entrepreneurship and the process of establishing a limited liability company. The main objective of the thesis is to create a business plan for a company in the gastronomic environment. The thesis applies the acquired knowledge about the business environment to a specific project, which is the development of a business plan for the establishment of a specific enterprise, namely Café bar Úsměv. In the process of setting up the actual Ltd. an analysis of the external and internal business environment, a PEST analysis (an analysis including political, economic, social and technological factors), a financial plan and an evaluation of the viability of the established business including a risk analysis were carried out. The aim of the paper is to provide a clear and straightforward guide to setting up an LLC in the catering industry, which will be applicable to setting up an LLC in any industry. It also aims to use the knowledge gained from studying in the hotel industry and from studying at the University of Economics. This knowledge will be implemented in the process of setting up a limited liability company and at the same time, to use our own practical experience gained through work experience in various catering operations.
