Digitální transformace ekonomiky a společnosti České republiky v porovnání s Finskem

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the digital transformation of the economy and society of the Czech Republic in comparison with Finland. The first part of the thesis explains the theoretical background of digital transformation and digitalization, including the key indicator of the Digital Economy and Society Index examining four key areas, which are human capital, connectivity, information technologies and public services. This index is central to the subsequent chapters of the thesis. Based on the analysis and comparison of the level of digital transformation of the Czech Republic and Finland in the Digital Economy and Society Index, the thesis identifies specific suggestions that could help the Czech Republic to improve its level of digital transformation and thus come closer to Finland, which is the leader in the Digital Economy and Society Index.
