Abstract

During operation of the mining scaper Conveyor Belts the interaction between their function surface and the transported rock cores about, which leads to mechanic wear. The most common mechanism of wear van be regarged abrasive wear, whose effect is depended on many factors such as hardness of material, properities of abrasive particles and relative move speed of the surface. Submited work focuses on the comparison of selected types of steel used for production of the mining scaper conveyors with respect to their abrasive resistance only on the basis of their microstructure analysis and hadness measurements. The results of the experiment showed that the measured hardness values corespond with the detected type of microstructure. The materials with quenched and tempered microstructures can be considered as the most fittest material. In work n. 1 and n. 2.
