Abstract

This bachelor thesis called Waste Management of the Brušperk Municipality deals with the analysis of the contemporary state of the waste management in this city. The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of municipality´s management in this branch and to present the proposals and the recommendations for the improvement. A part of the bachelor thesis is the questionnaire survey performed among citizens of Brušperk municipality to determine their satisfaction with the waste management. The bachelor thesis is divided into three sections. In the first section are defined the basic concepts and characteristics within the waste management. The second section is focused on the history of the municipality, its organizational structure and the management of waste. The third section is devoted to the overall evaluation of waste management in the Brušperk municipality and to the questionnaire survey based on which has been determined the proposals and recommendations for the municipality.
