Studium retence vody v rekultivovaných a přírodních lesních půdách na úpatí Velkého Javorníku (Beskydy)

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the study of water retention in relation to local forest soils, where it compares water infiltration on reclaimed and natural (intact) sites on the territory of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, more closely at the northeastern foothills of Velký Javorník (918 m above sea level). The thesis describes the issue of forest roads associated with possible natural disasters (droughts, flash floods) and the impact on the health of the forest ecosystem. The study included soil analyzes of laboratory work including determination of moisture, grain size profiles, pedological description of soil profiles, created by anthropogenic activities, with LiDAR scanning, X-ray diffraction and preparation of thin rock sections for subsequent control of samples.
