Abstract
The thesis is consisted of two parts. Theoretical part contains describe of general properties of composite materials. Materials are divide according to kind of matrix and is described their production as well. Thesis deals with production and properties of composites with added carbon fibers and glass fibers in detail. Conclusion of theoretical part is devoted to applications of the composite materials in automotive.
Practical part describes individual testing samples, which is different in structure. Based on the results of tensile test is possible to evaluate the influence of the structure on the mechanical properties of composite materials.
