Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on strategic and financial analysis of the firm Teplárna Kladno s.r.o. The thesis consists of two main sections. Firstly, the theoretical part contains definitions of essential terms and describes the data necessary for the analysis. This part is based on available literature and electronic sources. Secondly, the practical part contains the characteristics of the selected firm and an analysis of its performance using PESTLE analysis, Porter’s five forces analysis and SWOT analysis. Financial analysis containing both horizontal and vertical analysis and financial ratios is also included. The conclusion of this thesis contains the overall evaluation and outcomes of the economic analysis of the selected firm.
